Not Making this up. Saud's outlaw dog and cat sales
Honestly, Muslims the world around need to have a serious sit-down talk about the role of the mosque in society. The latest and craziest idea is that Saudi religious police enforce a ban on sales of dogs and cats. Part of the reason is that they are seen as corrupting Western influences. Says a cleric, "Then what's the point of dragging a dog behind you?" [Aleetha al-Jihani[ added. "This is blind emulation of the infidels." That doesn't sound too damning, but imagine if it phrased this way..."Why walk with an American bitch every night? This is clearly blind emulation of the infidels." See scary stuff!
