If you are liberal, you must stand against Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has called for liberal and secular university lecturers to be removed.

Just because President Bush doesn't like this guy doesn't mean liberals should immediately like him. If Bush is a bad guy, then Ahmadinejad is worse. Bush doesn't like people to question him and denounces them as anti-American. Ahmadinejad would get those people fired and possibly put in jail.

Strong sanctions and action against Iran's government are needed. Unfortunately, no one in the White House has a clue how to manage that.

On a related note: Democrats have finally gotten around to calling for Rumsfeld's firing. The approach laid out in the Labor Day letter is an excellent start to the campaigning season.
