Monday's Meditation
So, this friend of ours is going through a time with trying to figure out where she fits in the grand scheme of things. I sat down today while everyone was napping so I could respond to something she had written. I kept wanting to refer her to this or that book by this or that author, or thinking of different podcasts that I had found interesting or helpful or inspiring. I wrestled with the idea of sending her one book in particular because I thought it would really help.I think one of the things I most appreciate about Jesus is that he didn't just send another book or law; he sent himself. While I greatly appreciate Jesus coming, I find it really unpleasant and difficult for me to do with my own life.
