A Chinese fortune that doesn't work

Went to a nice Chinese restaurant in Chinatown last night and ate well. Chinatown in DC makes me laugh. It is about 1 block long and 1/2 a block wide. In London it is an entire area of town. Anyway, at the end of the meal, I opened my fortune cookie and for the first time, I received a fortune that didn't work with the Fortune Cookie Game.

My fortune is:
Working hard will make you live a happy life.


True enough advice, but not very good for a laugh.
