Iraq: bad and getting worse

Since we all have seen how we clearly cannot trust W, Cheney, Rumsfield, Rice, or any of that gang to be honest or forthcoming about just about anything, but especially about Iraq, it's nice to hear what is being said by the leaders there, like Shi'ite Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki who said:

"Iraq had one "last chance" to avert a slide to all-out civil war."

The violence is getting worse. The American presence there is not making it better and it's only continued to make it worse and worse ever since we put the first troop there. If it's not our soldiers killing their civilians (and it often is) then it's terrorists and death squads killing them BECAUSE WE'RE THERE. We never should have gone there and we sure as heck are not causing more good than evil by remaining there. This stopped being a "shades of gray" issue long ago.
