The Final Four
So, who amongst us Page 132 contributors and readers thought we'd already be down to the Final Four BEFORE Super Tuesday? It certainly has gotten a lot less complicated (and a lot less interesting) in a big hurry.Ah, the irony of American democracy in actual practice. Such is my prespective on American conservatives who puff up their chests and strut around the world stage extolling the virtues of American democracy, even to the extent of justifying the military invasion of places where that is what it takes to persuade them of the need to do it the way we do it. How ironic that there are so many other not-so-proud countries where we see 4,5,6 or more political parties all actively vying for the leadership of their governments. What an irony...
