Friday Prayer Blogging - September 11th edition
My dear readers, sorry for the oversight in missing my Friday Prayer blog post.Coming upon the 4 year anniversary of the horrific attacks on NYC, WA D.C. and PA I think it is probably important that we focus on our prayers upon those events.
Let us pray
Dear Heavenly Father,
We pray that your Spirit attends to all the grieving relatives and friends of the victims of the 9-11 attacks. May those who have yet to find closure look to you to help them heal. May you heal our land. May there be reconciliation between the different ethnic and religious groups in our country. Lord please bring America together in love.
Jesus, please bring out justice in our world. Start your reign as Prince of Peace now. Bring justice to the oppressed and the needy. Restore the fallen. Halt evil and bring evildoers to justice.
In Jesus' name. Amen.
