Washington State Senate passes more family leave time

I guess that someone in the Washington State Senate noticed my blog entry back on 26 Jan 2005 that noted an extension to family leave was one of the best ways for a government to be pro-family. The bill will let workers take five weeks of paid leave to care for a new baby or sick relative. I hope that it passes the House and becomes law.

Think this is the government overstepping its bounds? Why not click here for some debunking of your concerns like it will cost jobs and cost to businesses in lost productivity.

There is no way Jesus would be against this bill.
