Martin Luther Who?
Maybe it's not appropriate for an 11 year old, but I was shocked and chagrined this morning when a 4th grade African-American boy asked me two minutes into a video of MLK's "I Have a Dream" speech if he had to finish listening to it. After all, it was too, "boring."Am I overreacting in saying that I was unbelievably grieved by this young man's response to perhaps one of the most important speeches in American history?
