The NRA Called Today
NRA (after a short description of the political climate in the nation): "So, sir, can we count on you to donate some money in order to battle gun opponents so that the right to possess guns described in the Second Amendment doesn't disappear?"Me: "I'm not sure that the founding fathers had AK-47s in mind when they wrote the Second Amendment."
Brief silence....
NRA: "Okay, well... thank you very much for your time. Have a good evening."
Me: "Thanks. You have a good evening too."
