Bin Laden and Omar operating in Pakistan: U.S. officialIf the USA has the technology to read an auto license plate with a surveillance satellite, and Pakistani President Musharref is supposedly an ally in the "war" on terror, then in my sadly limited grasp of this situation I am struggling to find any reason that bin Laden is still operating freely on this planet other than the notion that he is more strategically useful to the Bushites' ongoing desire to maintain a high level of fear amongst the US population in the mode in which he has remained for five years now. It's a cynical and hideous thought, but what else have we got?
