Monday's Meditation

"The words of a gossip are like choice morsels; they go down to a man's inmost parts."
- Proverbs 26:22

We crave gossip. Our ears burn for its sweet music. When we consume it, gossip churns in our hears as we contemplate it day and night. As a result, our souls become flabby and crave for more. We often think of how gossip destroys community, but neglect the way in which gossip destroys the consumer of gossip.
