Democrats are officially the party of the legislature
MSNBC and AP have called VA for Webb. That is the 51 votes Democrats need for the Senate. With firm control of the House, Democrats should now be able to set the legislative agenda. First thing out of the gate: Increase the federal minimum wage. It is both the right thing to do and an incredibly popular idea.Technorati Tags: Current Events, Politics
