2 1/2 years late and a $340,831,072,958 dollars short

Triumphalism isn't very attractive, but I can't help but be ecstatic about Donald Rumsfeld's firing today. The man has been a total disaster for our military. He hasn't prepared the military to fight the fights of the 21st century. He hasn't run the Iraq War competently. He has been a water carrier for the President and equally as bush league.

Rumsfeld was a horrible Secretary of Defense, but a pretty good unintentional poet. Let's honor his departure with his masterpiece.
The Unknown

As we know,
There are known knowns.
There are things we know we know.
We also know
There are known unknowns.
That is to say
We know there are some things
We do not know.
But there are also unknown unknowns,
The ones we don't know
We don't know.
