Leonard Pitts taps in on some Page 132 thinking

If you missed it, there is a strong sentiment around here that "bumper sticker" thinking is not a cool thing. My current favorite columnist, Leonard Pitts, has some of that same philosophy.

Regarding the introductory idea in the column about teachers arming themselves at school - it's ironic, but that very act would make me do two things that I never thought I would ever want to do - 1) leave the teaching profession and 2) enroll my children in private school.
