Bittersweet, but back in the US
Apparently, not too soon, Mrs. Expat Teacher and I arrived in Seattle today. We tried real hard to stay up late and defeat jet lag, but here I am typing away on the computer at 3:30 a.m.I haven't worked through all my feelings about moving back, but Robbie O'Connell may have said it best with:
Back across the ocean to my home away from home
Glad to be returning but sad to have to go
I'd like to find a way to be two places at one time
It's easy going back again but it's hard to say goodbye
