Bet you didn't know that African economies grew by 5% last year beating both the US and Europe.In an effort to show that Africa isn't all dire and a bottomless pit for foreign aid and development money, can I direct you to Time's latest focus on Africa. "Time: Global Business" is about the first generation of black African millionaires and efforts by leaders in Africa to improve its infrastructure and power supply. The message is very optimistic. Now, if only the G8 would drop the debt, adopt trade justice, and increase useable aid to further the progress already made.
