Senator Clinton to use the Jesus card too?

Seems that Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) has come around to the idea that Jesus is a good political card to play. Taking a page from President Bush's 2000 campaign, she has endorsed "faith-based initiatives". I am not against faith-based initiatives in theory as I think that the church should be doing much of this work and many programs benefit from the extra financial support of the government. It makes no sense to have competing services for the poor and downtrodden, when a partnership would work better. However, I question how this program is implemented. See here for how it has turned out so far.

One thing is certain, for the next 4 years, we are going to HEAR a lot more about Jesus in the political arena. Let us keep the pressure up to see the fruits as well, whether Democrat or Republican.

Thanks to JM for pointing this out...
