Gotta love a free society
As much as Pat Robertson drives me crazy and dishonors Jesus with his outrageous statements, I am so glad to live in a free society. Sure it bothers me that Robertson has the freedom to make death threats against foreign leaders, but I love that the media and concerned citizens can challenge someone so close to the government and get him to apologize.Compare that to other non-free societies. Don't think Iranians get embarassed when their clerics call America the Great Satan or Saudi's aren't horrified when they hear state-sponsored imams say that the world is controlled by a combined Zionist-American cabal?
Regardless of what you think of Secretary of Defense TweedleDum and his boss, Tweddledee, the fight for freedom is an admirable one and something America should agitate for around the world.
