Habemus Papam!
In case you come to this blog before you go to the big news sites, we have a new Pope. German Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger was chosen on the second day of the conclave. His new name is Pope Benedict XVI and he is 78 years old. May he live a long life, but I'm not sure he'll have the same longevity as John Paul II so maybe I'll see a Third World Pope in my lifetime.
