Friday Prayer Blogging

I hope it's still Friday in Europe or wherever you may be when you are reading this. It's still early here, but I get all those time zones confused.

In Expat's absence, I still want to continue the new tradition of being devoted to prayer on Friday. I was re-reading his previous Friday prayer blog about the peacemakers being blessed and the conflicts around the world. Since he has covered the rest of the world with prayer on that one, I thought maybe we should focus a little closer today.

One of my favorite verses is Colossians 3:12. It reads:
"Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience."

Change has to begin internally before you can be an agent of change anywhere else. So today, let's focus on praying for this verse to be moving in our hearts, minds, and souls.
* Where can you show more compassion?
* Who can you show more kindness to?
* Where do you need to humble yourself?
* Where in your life would adding more gentleness be beneficial?
* In what aspects of your life do you need to be more patient?

Ask it. Pray it. Live it. God bless!
