Monday's Meditation

"Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith, who, for the joy set before him, endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." -- Hebrews 12:2

Every other Christmas, my wife and I go the Christmas Eve Mass with her family. One of the things I am really blessed by during that experience are the icons of the Stations of the Cross.

For this week's meditation, get ahold of some images of Jesus' suffering on our behalf. The immages could pictures, or perhaps even a cross with the crucified Jesus hanging upon it. Perhaps even visit a local Catholic church or cathedral, or another liturgical congregation, and spend some time reflecting on the images found around the building.
